Thomas Merton and Leonard Cohen: so different, with so much in common.

  • Both of them are spiritual guides rooted in, but not limited by, their respective Catholic and Jewish traditions.
  • Both are interested in Zen, and are advocates of the incorporation of stillness and contemplation into our busy lives.
  • Both challenge their readers and hearers, in different ways, to seek integration and wholeness: to “go home” spiritually.

In learning about their spiritual journeys, we will learn about our own journeys. The retreat includes presentations, discussion, reading and writing, music and silence. If desired, an opportunity for spiritual direction is available.

Suite: $270.00
Single: $230.00
Commute: $185.00
