Contemplative Supervision encourages self-awareness as spiritual directors engage in relationships with Divine Mystery, peer practitioners, and themselves.
In this process, spiritual directors are required to live the tension between intimate conversation and the necessity for professional conduct.
This extended weekend program is for those wishing to explore the practice of Supervision in the contemplative tradition, particularly one-on-one supervision, and those desiring continuing education in supervision.
It is intended for those with more than 3 years of experience in their field of spiritual direction, chaplaincy, order of ministry, pastoral or clinical counseling.
This event is held concurrently with a Jubilee-hosted Sacred Space Retreat
This weekend explores the nature and challenges of contemplative supervision. You will learn to:
~ understand the nature of the supervision relationship through body exercises, creative arts and reflection so that resistances and barriers come down more easily

~ share experiences as practitioners, in a safe environment
